Business of the Month June 2022 – Whitewright Truck & Tractor Pull

Please join us in congratulating Whitewright Truck & Tractor Pull as the Whitewright Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for June 2022.  The Whitewright Truck & Tractor Pull was formed in 1976 by a few local pullers and still to this day remains an annual event 46 years later.  Every year this annual event brings pullers and spectators from all areas near and far to participate and watch this event. This 2-day annual event not only brings business and tourist to Whitewright it brings in revenue that our community benefits from.  The Truck & Tractor Pull has become a tradition with many a family from everywhere.

There have been several different promoters over the years and in 2015 the Millers; Ray, Ginger and their two sons, Jake and Cole along with help from family and friends have been promoting this annual event.  In 2016, the Millers were awarded Pull of the Year by the Outlaw Truck & Tractor Pull Association and have continued to receive the Pull of the Year award every year since 2016.  The Millers in the past have been able to help many local organizations and groups with generous donations benefiting our community and continue to do so today.  Be sure to follow them on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wwttp/   Congratulations June 2022 Business of the Month!

Chick-Fil-A Food Truck – Wednesday, June 22nd – 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (While Supplies Last)

The Chamber of Commerce will host a Chick-Fil-A Food Truck on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM (or while supplies last).  The food truck will be located at 203 W. Grand Street, Whitewright, TX (grassy lot to the right of Legend Bank).  This event is sponsored by members, Jake Shockley State Farm of Bonham, TX and Just Wright Nutrition of Whitewright, TX.   A special thanks also goes out to Legend Bank for the use of the event lot.  For more information call 903.364.2000.

Business of the Month May 2022 — 1st Quick Check

Please join us in congratulating 1st Quick Check for being named the May Business of the Month  by the Whitewright Area Chamber of Commerce.

1st Quick Check is located at 1635 Beasley Blvd Whitewright.  It is owned and operated by Larry and Tammy Francis & family. First established in 1985, they have since added other locations including: Van Alystne, Howe, and Farmersville. Quick Check offers gasoline, a great cold Beer & Wine selection, as well as a variety of beverages, snacks and other foods.  They also have in-house dining with Corby’s Grill, which provides great cuisine and a casual dining experience for the family. Quick Check takes pride in providing quality customer service to every patron.
